7th Day Erotica
From TheAgency
The Inspiration[edit]
The following nursery rhyme is the inspiration for the 7th Day Erotica project. Although this is the basis of the project, the similarities pretty much end where they begin. The theme of these stories borrow from lines of the rhyme that relate to the days of the week.
Monday's Child[edit]
Monday's child is fair of face, Tuesday's child is full of grace. Wednesday's child is full of woe, Thursday's child has far to go. Friday's child is loving and giving, Saturday's child works hard for a living. But the child that is born on Sabbath day, Is bonny and blithe, good and gay
- This rhyme was first recorded in A. E. Bray's Traditions of Devonshire (Volume II, pp. 287–288) in 1838 and was collected by James Orchard Halliwell in the mid-19th century.
- The tradition of fortune telling by days of birth is much older.
Overview[edit]
The previous work serves as the inspiration and framework for 7th Day Erotica. I've transformed the theme into a work of erotica, and I've developed those themes into 7 distinct and sexy short stories. It's bound to piss some people off. But that's kind of the point. I write erotica to explore certain themes I'm afraid to share or pursue in my actual life.
The Week[edit]
- Monday: The first story in this project features a extraordinary good looking woman. The story itself detailing how this very beautiful woman maintained her looks with a strange, but sexy method. She loves to get facials. Not only those that come at the spa, but the facial a man could provide with the right stimulation.
- Tuesday - Features someone who moves through life with grace; Tuesday could be about someone who holds themselves on a high moral ground. Someone full of themselves and would have the weakness of arrogance. Arrogance that makes them easy to trick and manipulate.
- Or, Grace Miller is for all intents and purposes, the princess of Briarcliff. A tidy place of forty four thousand people to reside. The county itself had just enough people for there to be three High Schools. Briarcliff Central, West Briar Highschool, and E.H Purdy High School, a.k.a, East Briarcliff High. Grace was essentially queen of them all. Some years back, her mom or her grandma, I forget which, got together with some other stuck up bitches and instead of each school having 3 separate proms, the schools took turns hosting what the citizens of Briarcliff call, the Triple Crown.
- Wednesday - Features a dark and moody character; Rodney Womack | Woe is me, isn't the personality type for the character. But the word for "woe" means the same in this concept. This character has the typical angst you'd usually find in a teenaged girl. However, this character is not in their teens. The goth aesthetic and general angst had aged to something that could be interesting. Especially if you needed a different perspective in life.
- Thursday - Features a character on a journey; this concept should be the easiest to develop in theory. Themes will heavily rely on movement therefore keeping things on the go will feel natural. Preston Strickland
- Friday - Features a character that is very generous, maybe a philanthropist. The loving and giving phrasing could imply that this character is very open sexually and does not hold back with any partner. She could have some form of controlled nymphomania. Tanya Demers
- Saturday - child works hard for a living; a telling of a single Jelly story would fill this day up. Escorts, Nurses, Warehouse Workers, Waitresses; all work extremely hard for every dollar they earn. Julia Randle
- Sunday - But the child that is born on Sabbath day, Is bonny and blithe, good and gay; could imply a character with no worries or concerns. Has lived the good life. This could mean spoiled or appreciative. Confidence is apparent in this character. Heather DuBois
